Thirsty Nickel is on 6th Street and with that comes a certain clientele. People will be younger and drunker. There WILL be tourists. There WILL be bachelorette parties and girls WILL dance on the bar. So long as you are ok with that, you will LOVE the Thirsty Nickel. The DJs play good music, other than my band, which sucks, the bands play fairly good music, and the bartenders are always doing their best to provide alcohol to their patrons. If you want a place to discuss existentialism whilst sipping a fine port, this isn't your spot. If you are looking for a place where a bartender doesn't hesitate when you say "4 shots of anything" while holding up 3 fingers and saying back and forth, you'll have a great time.
