An Austin tradition and one of SXSW’s most looked forward to parties is the annual SPIN at Stubb’s SXSW Day Party. The SPIN day party has been host to many diverse acts over the years and this year is no exception. From the hip-hop sounds of headliners Run the Jewels, the electro-pop of Kate Boy, punk rockers Screaming Females, and Arcade Fire’s Will Butler, there will be sounds for everyone’s ears to enjoy.
The party takes place at Stubb’s Amphitheater at 801 Red River St on Friday March 20th. The doors open at 11 am, but it’s first come, first served and I can tell you from experience you’re gonna wanna show up early if you plan on getting in.
As a bonus from 11am to 12:30 pm they will be serving up a FREE brunch! You can’t beat that! The bands start at noon and there are two stages alternating bands so that you will have constant entertainment for the whole afternoon.
