The “Suburbia Tour” is the second North American leg of Troye Sivan’s world tour in support of his debut album, Blue Neighbourhood.
A ticket presale will begin on Wednesday, May 18, at 10:00 a.m. local time at www.troyesivan.com. Fans who pre-order the deluxe cassette edition of Blue Neighbourhood, or purchase any other item from his official music store will have access to the pre-sale for a chance at advance tickets. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, May 20, starting at 10 a.m. local time. A portion of ticket sales will go to The Ally Coalition, which supports LGBTQ causes and the fight against discrimination through education, awareness and advocacy.
Troye’s first-ever North American tour, which kicked off in February 2016, sold out months in advance. The Boston Globe observed, “it was apparent the 20-year-old musician will be playing larger rooms and to bigger crowds sooner rather than later.” The Daily Californian praised “his electricity and personality, not to mention his raw talent” and noted, “Sivan seemed as though he had been performing his whole life.”
The young Australian artist will perform at the Billboard Music Awards as the “KIA One To Watch” artist. The “2016 Billboard Music Awards” will broadcast LIVE from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22, at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on ABC.
