The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is an Austin holiday shopping staple featuring nearly 200 curated local and touring artists and makers to shop from, live music and local food.
Event Details
Attendees will find gifts in all price ranges as well as fine art for their collections. Shoppers can learn stories about the artists and their works, support local and traveling artists and buy exclusive gifts.The 2019 music lineup is filled with 36 bands ranging from breakout musicians, touring singer-songwriters and Austin legends over 12 days. The intimate Armadillo stage is known for bringing out special performances in high quality sound you can’t catch anywhere else. Don’t miss the fun, December 13-24 at the Palmer Events Center.

This year marks 44 seasons of the Armadillo treating around 40,000 Texans and tourists to a family-friendly, fun holiday shopping experience. New this year, shoppers can schedule an appointment with an Art Concierge to help them buy original works of art and handmade gifts for everyone on their gift giving list. Interact with new additions including kids activities, a shopping scavenger hunt, make a wish on the wishing trees, take a selfie or photo with family and friends in the photo booth or at an art activation.
Christmas Eve is a whole ‘nother party this year at the Armadillo. Closing at 8pm, instead of 10pm, the shorter hours don’t mean less fun. Shoppers can enjoy three special performances, the first performance starts at 11:30am, then the unveiling of the 2020 Featured Art, and the String-Off competition at 3pm. It’s a full day of fun for the whole family.
Open the 12 days before Christmas, the Armadillo is the best place to meet and discover artists while listening to live music, sipping a craft beer or cocktail and enjoying food from local eateries, Southside Flying Pizza and Shawarma Point.
