Big Boi is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and actor, best known for being a member of American hip hop duo Outkast alongside Andre 3000. He went solo in 2010 with Sir Lucious Left Foot:.The Son of Chico Dusty, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart that year. Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, issued in December 2012, was just as packed with guest appearances but extended far beyond the realm of rap to involve the likes of Little Dragon, Wavves, and Phantogram, which paved the path for a side project, Big Grams.
The Cool Kids have proven to be both an Internet and live show phenomenon. The duo of Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish met in mid-2005 after Mickey came across some of Chuck's beats online and liked what he heard. In 2007 they started receiving press from tastemakers, and landed several opening spots at festivals and shows. Fast forward to 2017 and The Cool Kids are back after a hiatus that saw Chuck and Mikey each expand upon their individual musical and artistic pursuits. Their new album, Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe, features the same barrier-breaking, revolutionary hip-hop that cemented their status as legends, along with a newschool, high-gloss finish.
