Join BoCCA at Capital One Cafe at Domain NORTHSIDE for a series of community events free and open to the public on Saturday, May 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Event Details
Biliteracy Club Communities of Austin (BoCCa) is a not-for-profit initiative started in 2015 to find creative and innovative ways to meet the needs of multilingual youth and their communities.
The target audience will be children (0-5 years) and their parents. The purpose of this workshop series is to engage parents and children in literacy and multicultural understanding. During these storytelling workshops, participants will learn how to create their own little books and poems. Participants will also receive a children's book connected to the theme courtesy of Capital One.
WHEN: Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Activities begin at 11:00 a.m. Space is limited. At 11:00 a.m., we will begin to take walkups if space is available.
WHERE: Capital One Cafe Community Room
WHO*: Kids ages 0 - 5 years old
HOW: "Save your space" in line by pre-registering on the "REGISTER" link via Eventbrite.
*All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of this event.

Do I enter my name or my kids' names in the registration?
Please enter your name and email address. HOWEVER, please count ONLY the children attending in the number of tickets you request. Do not count any adults in the ticket number.

Do I have to bring my printed "registration" to the event?
No.

The reading will begin at 11am. We encourage you to be ready to begin at 10:55am. After 11am, we will begin taking walk ups and anyone who pre-registered will be at the end of the walk-up line and is not guaranteed admission. For safety and supply reasons, we can only accommodate approximately 40 children.
What are my transportation/parking options?
There are 5 free garages surrounding Domain NORTHSIDE and Rock Rose.
