Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water…
Yes, it’s summer time, and despite some unsettling events of late, the Mayor has declared that the beach is totally, 100% safe for visitors. And people, if you can’t trust the Mayor, who can you trust?
Thus, with the Mayor’s full-on endorsement, we’re inviting you back to Volente Beach Resort on the shores of Lake Travis for one of our favorite events of the year, JAWS ON THE WATER. You’ll get access to all of the Volente Beach Resort rides, a ticket to one of the best films of all time, and an explosive finale to close out the night.
So pop open a beer, dangle your feet over your inner tube, and watch the film that made everyone afraid to go in the water… while you’re in the water.
We’re pretty sure there’s nothing lurking in there…
JAWS ON THE WATER is back this summer!
We're returning to our 2018 Austin home of Volente Beach Resort, on the shores of beautiful Lake Travis. But while the shores may be beautiful, the creatures lurking in the depths below could be anything but...
When you dive into the JAWS ON THE WATER experience your ticket includes…
* Admission to Volente Beach Resort fun from 6:00PM - 8:30PM, with all rides and hang out spots open, including the Lazy Lagoon, The Sidewinder, volleyball, a beachside bar and grill and a whole lot more.
* A ticket to the On the Water screening of one of the greatest films of all time.
* An explosive finale (on nights when the fire marshal allows it).
* The chance to be a floating shark snack for a squad of scuba divers to scare.
YOU HAVE 3 TUBE OPTIONS THIS YEAR!:
Alex Kintner's float inspired tube featuring headrest and cupholders will be available for sale on site, or with an add on to your ticket.
Already picked up a tube from attending a screening last year? Feel free to bring that, or any other tube 53" diameter or less, and you can use that, too.
Don't want to bring a tube? We'll also have plenty of loaners available for your use during the screening, and you can just return it to the beach after the film!
