Since January 2018, The Comedy Resistance has presented over 60 Comedy Shows/ Voter Registration Drives in Cities and Districts all over the country.
Event Details
On Sunday May 5th 2019--TCR Texas will be bringing together local community members in Travis County and surrounding areas to celebrate Cinco De Mayo and the right to vote. To Amplify our message and recruit even more volunteers, we will connect audiences with apps, ideas, organizations, and communities who are interested in getting involved. This is our chance to make a difference in our community, to encourage and assist friends, relatives, coworkers, and fellow citizens throughout the country.
This is a free standup comedy showcase, but we strongly encourage patrons to donate to The Comedy Resistance Texas to keep building momentum in Texas as we move toward the 2020 elections.
Proceeds will be donated to The Comedy Resistance Texas to help support our mission to make a big impact on voter registration and voter turnout throughout the state. Proceeds go directly to The Comedy Resistance to help support volunteers and standup comics committed to making a difference.
