On January 15th, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have been 90 years old. Join us for a special screening of "King in the Wilderness" + discussion. "King in the Wilderness" chronicles the final chapters of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, revealing a conflicted leader who faced an onslaught of criticism from both sides of the political spectrum. 
After viewing the documentary, we will have community champions and racial equity warriors serving as table facilitators for small group discussions on the documentary, MLK, race in Austin and the United States. Light snacks and drinks will be provided, including Slab BBQ generous donation of their delicious bites. We are so grateful for Gateway Church - South sharing their community space. And, special shout out to Lucas P-Li art for the MLK art drawing in the banner. ALL are welcome. Bus route accessible.Doors open at 1:00pm. We will begin the documentary promptly at 1:30pm, followed by time to share our thoughts, opinions, and personal stories.
