Introduction to Shaku Ju Therapy with Aaron Rubinstein
Date: Saturday & Sunday, Jan 26th-27th Location: AOMA Campus Room E-1
Overveiw This Course provides basic training Shaku Ju Therapy, which is a system of Japanese acupuncture that emphasizes the use of the abdomen for diagnosis and the treatment of the back shu points. The treatment system is based on the oldest classics of Chinese medicine, especially the Nan Jing. The treatment is applied using non-invasive needle technique (Great for pediatrics or needle senseitive clients)
What to expect to learn:- A basic understanding of the theoretical foundations of Shaku Ju therapy. -A basic understanding of the abdominal and pulse diagnostics used in Shaku Ju therapy. -A practical understanding of the two basic techniques of Shaku Ju therapy: contact needle techinque and push needle techinque. -A practical understanding of the methods of receiving feedback from the application of Shaku Ju therapy. -A practical ability to apply the fundamental treatment of Shaku Ju therapy on patients.
