Downtown Bastrop's signature event: First Fridays is a monthly celebration of all things art, live music, food, shopping, and entertainment. Bastrop is 30 minutes but a world away from Austin. Historically hip downtown Bastrop's monthly event showcases and celebrates galleries, artists, restaurants, shops, and small businesses.
Participating businesses host artisans, trunk shows, demos, and more inside their locations and feature a variety of refreshments, live music, local and regional artwork, and snacks and drinks for both adults and children.
