Confituras offers intensive canning classes at their commercial kitchen space as well as at urban farms and shops around town and provides free demonstrations at farmers’ markets and non-profit organizations.

Join L'Oven Baker Abby Love for a two-day croissant intensive class! We will discuss how to make the flakiest, butteriest croissants in your very own kitchen. Lamination is a process of enclosing butter in a dough, and we will walk through all the steps together so you can be the envy of your foodie friends and beloved of your family and coworkers. We'll also take a stab at puff pastry, a similarly laminated dough that is a total crowd pleaser!
This class will run two consecutive days: Friday evening, Sept 7 & Saturday morning, Sept 8. Students will make AND eat croissants in class, and go home with EVEN MORE croissants and dough to bake at home. Fresh breads and heavy snacks will be provided for nibbling, but BYOB to take the edge off your lamination anxiety!
Tickets are non refundable but definitely transferrable up to 5 days before the class. This class is for all levels so experts needing some practice as well as novices who have always loved this buttery treat are all welcome.
