Taking place twice a year in the heart of Downtown Austin, the Pecan Street Festival is the largest arts and crafts festivals in central Texas. offering a bounty of locally-crafted arts, crafts, food, entertainment, and more, the 2013 Pecan Street Festival is gearing up to provide a great time for Austin residents and visitors alike during both the spring and fall seasons of 2013.

The 2013 Spring Pecan Street Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5 while the fall edition will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29.  Each of these FREE festivals will feature a 24-block span (Brazos to I-35) of shops, vendors, live entertainment, and more in one of Austin's biggest entertainment districts, 6th Street.

The arts show will proudly feature over 275 artisan vendors from all corners of the world showcasing mediums including paintings, sculpture, woodwork, mixed media, metalwork, photography, apparel, digital prints, glass art, stonework, pottery, knitting, ceramics, candles, fine art, one-off furniture, jewelry, home decor, leather goods, games, and other useful household items.

The 2013 Pecan Street Festival will also feature over 60 local and national artists providing live music on multiple stages throughout the area as well as more than 30 food vendors serving up some of the best locally-inspired cuisine in the area.

Now celebrating its 35th year in existence, the Pecan Street Festival is an Austin institution which has helped revitalize Downtown Austin and the lively 6th Street district over its lifespan.  The Pecan Street Festival attracts over 300,000 visitors twice each year and generates an estimated $43 million in economic impact annually.
