Actress, Author — Ali Wentworth — Wraps Up RCLA Town Hall 2018 Lecture Series
Wentworth Replaces Reshma Saujani on Monday, April 9
SARASOTA, FL –She replaces Reshma Saujani, who has canceled her appearance due to unforeseen circumstances.
“Ms. Wentworth’s appearance will delight our audiences with her humorous take on aging, relationships and the struggles of juggling a career and family,” said RCLA Town Hall Chair, Emily Walsh.
Wentworth played roles in shows including In Living Color, Felicity and appeared as Jerry Seinfeld’s overly affectionate girlfriend on Seinfeld’s “Soup Nazi” episode. Her most notable film appearances include Jerry Maguire, Office Space, and It’s Complicated.
Wentworth, who’s married to Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos, said her husband’s morning show, as well as working for Oprah Winfrey and “reading every self-help book,” inspired her to start the journey she went on writing books. Her latest book, also a New York Times best-seller, Happily Ali After, was published in June 2015. She created and is the star of Nightcap, a TV series that premiered in November 2016.
