The Burning Bowl Ceremony is a time to relinquish anything that burdens your mind and, at the same time, identify those things in your life that you wish to occur in the coming year. It is also a time to forgive yourself and others in exchange for inner peace.
The ceremony will provide an ideal time to let go things that no longer work in your life. We will encourage you to write on (special) paper, things, ideas and situations that you no longer wish to have power in your life-things you wish to release in the coming year. Then, you will be invited to symbolically cast your list to the eternal flame in the "burning bowl" and begin anew.
The second part of the service allows us to ask God for whatever we wish to bring into our lives, to create a clean, fresh start of our hopes and desires in the New Year. The event is one of our most meaningful "spiritual tune-ups" each year and you do not want to miss it.
