As the Director of Digital Marketing for Visit Austin, Katie oversees all digital marketing for the organization, including the company’s website, digital advertising, search engine marketing and social media strategies including management of @visitaustintx, the Instagram account with nearly 80K followers and all other social accounts.
Katie is active in the Austin social media community and speaks regularly on using digital marketing for tourism locally and nationally. Katie serves on U.S. Travel Association’s Destinations Council and the advisory board for ETourism Summit. Katie holds a degree in Mass Communications-Public Relations fromTexas State University.
Jenn Deering Davis, VP of Corporate Communications, TrendKite
Jenn Deering Davis is VP of Corporate Communications at TrendKite. Previously, Jenn was co-founder of Union Metrics, which merged with TrendKite earlier this year. There, she was responsible for ensuring a consistent and excellent experience for Union Metrics audiences. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from the University of Texas at Austin and has more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications and social media, spending her career turning data into stories and helping stakeholders understand new technology.
