Breakthrough is a documentary about a scientist named Jim Allison who grew up in a small town in Alice, Texas. After the passing of his mother at a young age, Jim devotes his life to finding a cure for the terrible disease. Now at 70, this documentary features a retelling of the hard work and the struggles he experienced that led to his Nobel Prize-winning discovery. Featured are stories directly from the man himself as well as his friends and family. This documentary is narrated by Woody Harrelson and Written and directed by Bill Haney.
