Bookkeeping is the backbone of good business practices and allows artists to better track money coming in and going out, understand their profit margins, and file their taxes well. Artist and bookkeeping consultant Cheryl Finfrock will lead a workshop on how to feel more confident about managing your finances.
Cheryl Finfrock is an artist and business owner, both right and left brain driven. She owns Austin Bookkeeping & Consulting and has over 21 years of experience servicing small businesses, corporations, nonprofits and independent contractors. Clients include several local artists as well as PrintAustin. She works with businesses to customize and build well designed, user friendly accounting systems. She uses Xero accounting software branded beautiful accounting, a real plus for artists and creatives. As a Xero advisor and gold level partner, she is one of Austin’s Xero Local Ambassadors. Cheryl has taught business and career development workshops at Flatbed Press, Jerry’s Artarama, and has been a guest speaker at Mark Smith’s (Flatbed Press co-founder) “Business of Art,” & “Tax Tips for Artists,” UT Austin.
