The Renaissance TRIO Training Project provides a regional training seminar, designed to provide professional development for TRIO staff in the area of recordkeeping; reporting student and project performance; and the rigorous evaluation of project performance in order to design and operate a model program. These strategies are designed to increase the knowledge, skill, and resources of TRIO professionals to operate a model program. Familiarity with the program regulations, a working knowledge of ways to document congruence and collecting data at the participant, comparison by cohort, and reporting data at the program level, and developing strategies to align program operations and service components based on the analysis and synthesis of data forms the foundation of this training.
