#1012Movement is a intentional action to increase awareness of Human Trafficking, and how to eradicate it from our communities. This year, we are raising funds through a dance-athon benefitting 3 organizations working directly with exploited victims.
Event Details
Registered participants (Dancers) commit to educate twelve supporters about Human Trafficking from the literature provided by #1012Movement leaders, including tips on how to identify victims, as well as proactive measures to expose dangers, and connect with organizations that assist those in need.
Each supporter will give $10 to support the Dancer as he/she “Dance Upon Injustice" during the event on October 12th, from 10pm-12midnight. There will be several choreographed, prophetic dances as well as Spirit-led improvised dancing- Declaring Victory Over Injustice Through Dance! The event will be videotaped, as well as streamed live! Ask how you can host a watch party in your area!
