BowiElvis Fest is an annual party in it's 10th year thrown by Splice Records TX.
Event Details
BowiElvis Fest is a musical celebration honoring two Capricorns on the shared birthday of both David Bowie and Elvis Presley. The Fest is a fashionable tribute that is all about the preservation of Rock n Roll!
Lineup: Showcasing Brian Scartocci and Pecos Hank Schyma, the lovable Swimwear Department (doing the Labyrinth soundtrack), and the one man funk collective Henry + The Invisible
Music fans young and old are welcome to come dance and celebrate the birth of two fallen rock legends on their Birthday.
Activities: Face painting, Elvis/Bowie games, a Costume contest, prizes, food concessions and a lot of nostalgic moments. Come Dressed up and win a prize. Doors are at 8 and the party ends when the music can go no more (around 1-2 in the am).

* We will have Concessions provided by Lindsey Alves Fuquen with KITCH Catering featuring two sandwiches for purchase at the club: "The King" which is Elvis's favorite Bananas Peanut-butter and honey grilled sandwich... and the "Bowie" (which is the same thing but with cheese).
Come dressed up, come get weird and just note we throw this party in both Houston (1/5) and then in Austin on (1/12).
