ABOUT ARTISAN BISTRO:
Artisan is a French bistro, bakery and wine bar. We serve lunch and dinner Wednesday through Saturday and brunch on Sundays. (We are closed on Mondays, and Tuesday evenings are reserved for private parties or special events such as cooking classes and wine tastings.) Chef d'Andrea works alone in the kitchen, handling all prep, cooking,

ABOUT CHEF CESIDIO D'ANDREA:
Chef Cesidio d'Andrea's passion for cooking began at a very early age in his family kitchen, and there was no doubt in anyone's mind he would pursue it professionally. Shortly after his culinary studies and his nomination as a finalist of the highly regarded "Meilleur Apprentis de France” contest, Cesidio began his career in some of Paris' most prestigious establishments, such as Fauchon and Chez Edgar. He then went on to become executive chef of the Lancaster and San Régis Hotels, both classified as Small Luxury Hotels of the World™. For the past decade, he has been in business for himself, first with his restaurant, La Place, and then with a catering business with two successful locations in Normandy, where he also created a small cooking school at the Chateau de Miromesnil (www.chateaumiromesnil.
