Saturdays, November 9, 16, & 23 ⋅ 10:00am – 1:00pm

In this class we'll cover:

How to use a sewing machine to sew curves, corners, secure stitching, what stitches to use when, and all that will make you comfortable in the driver's seat.
Zippers, linings, elastic, hems, and more will have the fear taken away as you learn to handle them with ease.
Learn to decipher pattern symbols, language, and layouts so that you can start making new projects right away!
How to properly cut, pin, and work with fabric to get the best results!

This class is meant to be informative, fun, and encouraging! The first class will cover sewing machine basics, troubleshooting, stitches, and sewing a straight line. We'll get started on our first project, a Dopp Kit, and finish it during the second class. Our final project is a pair of comfy Unisex Boxer style shorts or PJ pants (your choice!).

Instructor: Tessa Gonzales

Pre-requisite: None! This is for complete beginners!
