Description
This is a continuation of Printmaking 1: Linotype Workshop A printmaking process where you paint and draw onto a surface. Learn to use this painterly process well-loved by Degas!
Event Details
You’ll learn how to prepare your plate and how to use various techniques to make marks on your surface. Create a unique print or monotype to bring home or gift to a loved one.

Ivette Hawthorne has a background in fine art with a concentration in printmaking. She went on to study fashion design and then received her international certification in makeup design and special effects. For ten years Ivette worked as a fashion and makeup stylist in New York City before moving to Austin, Texas with her family in 2014. In 2017 Ivette decided to return to her creative roots and pursue art full-time. She has shown her work in several galleries in the Austin area, teaches classes and workshops at various locations and also serves on the Round Rock Arts Board.
