Honey from the Rock! Round Rock Honey owners Konrad and Elizabeth Bouffard take the greatest pride in producing only the purest Texas wildflower honey, emphasizing quality over quantity in every step of the harvest. Hives are located across Central Texas, which gives the honey a rich taste unique to the state.
Round Rock Honey started 15 years ago at the Sustainable Food Center Farmer’s Market in Downtown Austin. Through customer loyalty and rave peer to peer reviews, business has consistently grown in reputation and capacity. In addition to offering the finest Texas wildflower honey available, Round Rock Honey has education as a core pillar of their business model. Several weekends each month, students clad in white, head-to-toe beekeeping suits can be found enthusiastically peering into Round Rock Honey training hives in Austin, Dallas, Houston & Los Altos, California. For those not yet ready to come face-to-face with a hive of bees, Round Rock Honey offers tours of its bottling facility. For more information on the beekeeping school, be sure to check out it’s dedicated Facebook page: @roundrockhoneybkschool.
