The course has beautiful native trees, and Sulphur creek winds through holes 11 of the 18 of the course. Measuring just 6,000 yards from the championship tees and par 72, the golf course is short but challenging. Hancock Park Golf Course's most talked about hole is #2. It is a 355-yard, par 4 hole with Sulphur Creek bordering the left side, large native pecan trees on the right, and ending with a shallow island green. The hole provides a challenge for even the best golfers.
