Title pretty much sums it up. I’m not going to get dramatic and melancholic here but I’m trying to chase the feeling of Austin pre-2013 era. The problem isn’t getting priced out, but the energy of the city has changed by the very people moving here to feel that unique energy. Where are you moving to next? Not looking for Colorado suggestions (I have fam there, we Texans tend to visit in the summer and REALLY underestimate how long it snows throughout the year and move back). More like laid back, mid-sized college towns with a lake/river running through the downtown area. Not much snow for year round hiking access.
