Tejas Ministries, Inc. owns and operates the business of Camp Tejas and all of its ministries. Tejas Ministries, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit, interdenominational Christian organization. It is overseen by a volunteer board of trustees.

Our purpose is to minister to the body of Christ through direct and indirect discipleship by providing accommodations, activities, and training that focus on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide direct discipleship by teaching and training our staff. Our indirect discipleship happens as we provide a place of training and encouragement for the church. Our goal is to be used within the body of Christ to encourage believers and share the gospel.

During the retreat season, our guests are with different age groups from a variety of churches. We provide the facilities, the meals, and some recreation activities such as the challenge course, climbing wall, hayrides, and campfires. Each group provides their own speaker, music, counselors, and program.

During summer camp, we continue to provide the facilities and meals, but we become more involved in the recreation, ministry, and other programs of our guests. Each summer camp group has the option of using our summer ministry team for a variety of activities and programs.
