Christmas in October

Let God’s love to be the first gift you share this holiday season through a variety of volunteer and donation opportunities between now and the New Year. Some opportunities are safely in person, others need skills like baking or making cards, several ask you to shop for others and some give the opportunity to support good works with a financial gift. There are projects for people of all ages, and ones that can be done alone, in pairs, or as a group. So, think about how you will give yourself to others this holiday season and look for “Christmas in October” information beginning this Sunday, October 3rd. WUMC Service Committee Elves will be in the lobby of the Worship Center after both services with sign-up information, or go online at westlake-umc.org/CIO. Following sign up, the project Angel will contact you with more details as necessary.
