Permanently Closed.. Carmelo's Ristorante is Austin's answer to an authentic Sicilian kitchen spiced with continental chic. All the ingredients are here – the pungent smells of garlic, the irresistible sounds of an accordion, a collection of limestone buildings that open out to a charming piazza recreating the village of Taormina where Carmelo was born and, of course, a sundry of the best Italian pastas, wines and desserts.
