The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment

The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment inspires research and leadership that ensures clean, abundant water for the environment and all humanity. Founded in 2002, the mission of The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment is to develop and promote programs and techniques for ensuring sustainable water resources for human needs, ecosystem health and economic development.
In August, 2012, River Systems Institute was renamed in recognition of a generous gift by The Meadows Foundation, helping to focus research on water and its relationship with the environment.
