Club LIV is always a fun time when I visit Miami! The drinks can be expensive but they taste great!
Nothing compares to a pulled pork sandwich from Holy Hog! Their Holy Gold BBQ sauce mixed with their Holy Hot BBQ sauce is the perfect pair on top of any sandwich! The Burnt ends melt in your mouth they're so tender. Definitely my favorite place in Tampa for BBQ!
Pros: Pulled Pork, Sausage, Burnt Ends, Jalapeno Mac and Cheese!
This is the closest Publix to my house and I love the prepared foods and buffalo chicken dip that they have! It makes cooking easier after a long day in the office!
I loved TreeUmph! It challenged me and made me break a sweat but I was having a great time while doing so! I think that the 4th and 5th level are too high for me but 1-3 is a blast! Definitely have to go back and try the giant zipline!
The Hyppo is the perfect summer spot for a cool-down! And they have to many flavors of popscicles that your garenteed to find at least one flavor that you like!
The Lure is a great spot that you could bring even the pickiest of eaters to and they would still enjoy themselves! They make every dish to order and can personalize it for you if there is something you don't like!
Pros: Great Food, Unique Dishes.
Holy Cow! This place has QUALITY BBQ. My favorites are the pulled pork and the burnt ends. Parking is limited but its always worth the search for a spot!
Pros: Great BBQ- Not drenched in sauce just good quality meat.
Cons: Parking is difficult and it will cost you.
I love going for walks on the boardwalk of Lettuce Lake Park! Usually I see alligators and some cool birds as well. Entrance is less than $5 and its worth it to be able to walk in the shade on these hot summer days.
Pros: Shady, Beautiful, Lots of Animals
Cons: Don't allow dogs
I love taking my dog to the beach at Picnic Island! She loves that there are always other dogs to play with and so do I.. she always leaves tired! The scenery is nice too.. especially during sunset!
Pros: Dogs are allowed and there is ALWAYS enough parking!
MacDinton's is my weekend spot! For UT students and young professionals alike it's a place to forget the stress of a long week! Thursday night- Dollar Beers. Friday Night- 4 Hour AYCD happy hour. It's THE BAR to check out when you come to Tampa!
Pros: You can drink a lot for cheap! Always has good music and a large crowd!
Shula Burger is my go-to neighborhood spot! I can walk there from home and the food is reliable. The burgers, fries, sweet potato tots and chocolate milkshakes are all to die for.. I would suggest the French Onion Burger if you like french onion soup!
Pros: Reliable- Food is always great!
I love going to Busch Gardens! Its like a zoo and amusement park in one...Lots to see and lots to do! It gets hot during the summer but if its too hot for Busch Gardens check out Adventure Island... Their water park next door!
Datz it the ultimate foodie spot in Tampa! Every dish has been well thought out down to each and every bite! The Havana Hottie and the Mother Clucker are two of my favorite items on the menu.
Pros: Large Portions, Great Sandwiches, Soft Pretzels are amazing too.
Cons: Parking is limited
I love DE! It's my favorite on a Sunday for lunch or breakfast.. Their fried pickles are to die for and so are their mac n cheeses ! They have a great deal from 2-7 every day where mimosas are only $2 each..
Pros: Good Prices, Fairly Cheap Drinks.
Cons: Parking can be a headache if its busy but those fried pickles always have me coming back for more!
I love Epcot and this is one of m favorite restaurants there! Their food is extremely authentic and they have an array of biers that you can choose from!
I love Armature Works and believe its the "new thing" for Tampa! I love the idea of a Food Hall and Armature Works is the first of many in Tampa!
Pros: Great Food. Something for everybody. Cru Cellars Roast Beef Sandwich is amazing.
I went to the opening of Metro Diner yesterday and I believe that this is going to be a popular new spot on W. Kennedy! The portions are huge and the coffee is strong! :)
Pros: Large Portions
I love Fresh Kitchen! They have the best healthy lunch in Tampa and they're the only place in town that makes me WANT to eat vegetables as almost my entire meal! They have a new outlook on healthy and I would suggest everybody try it at least once!
Pros: Healthy, Fresh Food! My favorite combination is: double romaine salad, green beans, baked almond chicken, vinaigrette and Parmesan cheese!
Cons: Parking can be hard but its always worth the walk!
I love seeing EDM artists at The Ritz! It's always fun to see them so up close and personal in a smaller setting like the Ritz. Sometimes you can even meet the artists out back after the show, which I think is really cool. Their drinks can be pricey but they're always good. Would definitely recommend The Ritz for anyone who likes EDM!
Pros: Great artists! Always fun! Open Late!
Cons: Parking can be far and the shows begin around midnight, so it can make for a late night!
I love Ulele. It's the place I always take my parents to when they're in town and they love the atmosphere and authentic Florida cuisine! The hush puppies are a must try on their menu.
Pros: Great food, Delicious Drinks!
Cons: Free Parking is a bit of a walk but it's definitely worth it!
