This is my favorite brunch spot in Austin! They have bottomless mimosas and a great menu selection with savory and sweet options. They also have great happy hour options as well!
I had the best mojito of my life at Irene's when I was in Austin this winter! I would love to go back and sit outside for another delicious mojito soon!
Everyone needs a 24-hour diner with exceptional breakfast food near them, and Kerbey Lane is that diner! Just great breakfast and brunch items, and the lunch/dinner fare is also a hit.
I had a great experience with the staff! Plus they have really good Tex-Mex!
Locally owned Edis Chocolates is a go-to-place for some of the best chocolates in town! They're famous for their gluten-free baked goods like their hazelnut amaretto torte or their peanut butter mousse cake.
Maggie Mae's has great happy hour prices, rooftop bar and live music! Perfect spot for a fun night in Austin!
Pros: Multiple levels, rooftop bar, young crowd & affordable prices
Cons: Parking is a headache - take an uber!
Large food portions & great outdoor area with friendly service!
Pros: Outdoor patio or otherwise known as the "alcove lounge"
Just some of the tastiest (and biggest) donuts you've ever seen. If you're in the area, stop by soon. You will see why they are so popular.
Even though this restaurant is in the middle of a tourist destination it definitely isnt tourist food. One of the best Tex Mex restaurants in Austin by far.
Pros: Great food and even better drinks.
Cons: As with any business on south congress, there's not a lot of parking.
Easily my favorite BBQ restaurant in Austin. The atmosphere and service are top notch and the brisket and sausage are amazing.
Pros: Great food that's always fresh.
Cons: There can be long waits and lack of parking.
