Event Details
Back in 1976, Mr. Buffett tasted his first margarita at a Mexican restaurant in Austin on Anderson Lane called Lung's Cocina del Sur. He was so inspired by the tasty cocktail that he wrote the song "Margaritaville." Lung's Cocina del Sur eventually closed and became Fudrucker's, then Fudrucker's closed and became the Goodnight, and now High 5 Anderson Lane is the proud home of this music history site.
High 5 and The Austin Chronicle are hosting a party on National Margarita Day (22nd February) at our Anderson Lane location, featuring the Texas Tide Jimmy Buffett tribute band, a shrimp boil, give aways, and of course delicious MARGARITAS!
