Event Details

Austin Jukebox in partnership with The SIMS Foundation proudly presents:

> Martin Rev [NY] - A keyboardist of considerable musical output, Martin Rev is perhaps most known for his work with protopunk act Suicide and post-punk side project The Sisterhood (with Sisters of Mercy mainstay Andrew Eldritch). Martin released a new solo album in May 2017, Demolition 9, which he describes as an autobiographical yearning for joy and the unattainable perfection of the artistic idea.

> The Hentchmen [MI] - Formed in 1992 in Detroit, The Hentchmen are a garage punk band who have enjoyed a cult-like following since their early days. "The Hentch", as they're also known, have toured the US many times over and recorded with Jack White before the White Stripes came into existence.

> Heavy Times [IL] - Chicago-based Heavy Times are a self-described psychic punk quartet originally on HoZac Records. Formed around 2009, the group have three albums to their name and most recently released an EP in 2016, Black Sunglasses.

> Elisa Ambrogio [MA] - Frontwoman of noise rock group Magik Markers, Elisa Ambrogio embarked on her solo career in 2014 with critically-lauded album The Immoralist. Musically the polar opposite of Magik Markers, Elisa's solo efforts are more pop driven with heart-wrenching lyrics.

This is the tenth show of the quarterly series, Austin Jukebox; with the goal of bringing together acts from different genres that are interesting, weird and/or cool, the aim of the series is to provide an experience that is unique, refreshing and something to talk about.

The SIMS Foundation started in 1995 in memory of local musician Sims Ellison to provide access and financial support for mental health and addiction recovery services to Austin music industry professionals and their families.

Each participating act gets one or two guitar pedals, as does a lucky audience member from our extraordinary sponsor, EarthQuaker Devices!

We are also thrilled to welcome a new sponsor, Crosspick Studio, a great recording studio soon opening here in Austin.
