In the heart of summer, it goes without saying that it’s hotter than Hades, especially here in Texas. If you’re parched and looking for a new place to relax and have a good time, look no further than this San Marcos’ rugby inspired pub called The Pitch!

With a rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere coupled with refreshing hospitality, you can relax and enjoy handcrafted drinks made with high-quality spirits and beers you won't find anywhere else in town in this family-owned rugby pub.

Play darts, shoot some pool, socialize with old friends, bring a date or just pop in to enjoy a rugby game and grab a pint!  They make a mean Martini, and their Bloody “Hail Mary" is quickly becoming legendary in Hill Country. Enjoy wine by the bottle or glass or choose from 30 quality craft brews rotating on tap.

Save during Happy Hour every day at The Pitch between 3 pm and 7 pm when their signature and classic cocktails are $2 off, and beers are a buck less.

We stopped in on Sunday and turned it into a seriously FunDay hanging out all day (Noon - 2 am) with $2 Mimosas, $6 Bloody Hailmarys, and $1 off all their beers!

One of the guys in our party asked, and yes, they will carry NFL Sunday Ticket. Staff promised us our game would be on anytime. They have an 11-foot big screen, plenty of Tv's and some of the best company in Austin!

Live music is found on the patio all day, every day of the week. If you are interested in playing The Pitch; email thepitchsm@gmail.com for more information.

We love the fact that you can make reservations online at this rugby pub, no waiting here. Whether it's for a birthday or to celebrate a promotion, the staff is always up for a party!
