Sugar Mama's Bakeshop

This bakery has become one of the most renowned shops in the Austin area and is well-known for their fresh pies. Sugar Mama's offers up five pies that will fit right in with any Thanksgiving feast. The traditional pie flavors they'll have for Turkey Day include Apple Brown Betty, Bourbon Chocolate Pecan, and Classic Pumpkin. However, if you're looking to add a little diversity to your sweets selection, they also have a pie named the Kitchen Sink (which gets its name for having tons of ingredients) and a Triple-Berry pie made with raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Sugar Mama's is taking orders until Sunday, November 18, so be sure to order your pies while they're hot!

Tiny Pies

Pies are easy enough to eat but difficult to choose with so many delicious flavors. Luckily, Austin's own Tiny Pies bakes fresh miniature pies every day, so you don't have to choose just one flavor. These pies are so small that they can fit in the palm of your hand, but don't be fooled by their size because they pack a lot of sweet goodness into something so small. This bakery is constantly rotating flavors and recently brought in six new flavors just in time for the holiday season. Try something a little less traditional this Thanksgiving and grab a pie that you don't have to share with anyone!

Chez Zee American Bistro

Chez Zee has been cranking out delectable Austin desserts since 1989 and doesn't show any signs of stopping soon. Not only is the restaurant known for its great food but also its award-winning desserts, which will be a conversation starter at any Thanksgiving function. Feel free to branch away from the holiday tradition of having just pies for dessert because, in addition to pies, Chez Zee offers cheesecake, sheet cake, tort, mouse, and brownies. Spice up your Thanksgiving dessert table and treat yourself to some of Chez Zee's mouthwatering creations.

Quack's 43rd Street Bakery

Once located on the drag at the The University of Texas, Quacks has been an Austin Staple for over 30 years. This bakery started out as the first coffeehouse in Austin and soon started incorporating all kinds of baked goods into their menu. Quacks offers multiple flavors of pie, layerd cake, muffins, coffee cakes, tea bread, scones, danishes, cinnamon rolls, croissants, cookies, and cupcakes. If variety is the spice of life, Quacks takes the whole spice cabinet when it comes to baked goods, and you can't go wrong with getting an assortment of sweets from Quacks for Thanksgiving.
