Austin Traditional Jazz Society presents the New Orleans style jazz of La Grosse Tete on Sunday, February 11 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.

The Austin Traditional Jazz Society welcomes back, La Grosse Tete. Formed in early 2013, this New Orleans Jazz inspired band share their love for traditional jazz with music lovers and dancers all over Austin.
As one of the only swing dancer-inspired traditional jazz bands in Austin, La Grosse Tete has played for the Austin Swing Syndicate, Four on the Floor, and at various venues, festivals, parties and special events in the greater Austin area. They believe this lively music is intended for dancing. That driving beat will make you want to leap to your feet!! If you love hot jazz, you will love La Grosse Tete!!
Come listen and dance to this great band at Cap City Comedy Club on Sunday February 11, from 2 – 5 pm. Doors open at 1 pm.
Concert admission:
Free for ATJS members
$10 general admission and $5 for students with ID.
Cap City features good food, full bar, (suggested minimum: 2 items, food or drink), 2 dance floors, and ample free parking. The hall holds up to 300 people — lots of room for all! ATJS concerts are family friendly.
