What is the scholarship for?
The James Kallina Scholarship is a memorial scholarship awarded to students at Texas School for the Deaf in the Career and Vocational Education program who have shown outstanding acheivement in the area of career and technology education and are continuing their vocational training at a higher educational institution. This scholarship typically awards three scholarships of $300, annually. Previous scholarships have been used to subsidize materials used for vocational training, such as personal computers.
