Description
The Baron's Men presents William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale directed by Anneliese Friend, every Thursday/Friday/Saturday in April.
Event Details
The Winter's Tale is one of Shakespeare's late romances, sometimes grouped with his "problem plays". At times tragic, comedic, and romantic, The Winter's Tale also features one of theater history's most famous stage directions: "Exit, pursued by a bear."
The Baron’s Men is a Resident Repertory not-for-profit community theatre that presents plays that fit the time and style of ancient Greece to 1650, that are staged and costumed in a manner that is as historically accurate as possible. Performances are at The Curtain Theatre, a replica of the original Globe Theatre in London, right here on the shores of Lake Austin.
