After a pandemic hiatus, we’re excited to continue the tradition of meeting Hamburgers while eating hamburgers at SXSW - this time @ Shangri-La on Thursday, March 16th. Hamburg Music, Reeperbahn Festival and GEMA invite you to meet and network with representatives from music and creative industries in Hamburg and the rest of Germany. Join us for free food and drinks and find out about plans and partnership opportunities for 2023 and beyond.

Together with Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg Music has organized the presence of Hamburg's music business in Austin for over a decade, regularly representing one of the biggest delegations at SXSW. In 2023, Reeperbahn Festival is also presenting a showcase with selected up-and-coming artists from previous ANCHOR - Reeperbahn Festival International Music Award line-ups and Keychange, the EU-based initiative and global network working towards gender equality in the music industry. Don’t miss out on ÄTNA, EKKSTACY, Philine Sonny, Albertine Sarges, and Akua Naru, right after the reception.

Hamburg - hub for creative industries and city on the waterfront - is the most dynamic economic region in northern Europe. Hamburg Music is Germany's first regional music business association and one of the largest in Europe with currently more than 130 member companies. Hamburg is also home to one of the biggest music business events worldwide: the Reeperbahn Festival. Since its debut in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has developed into one of the most important gatherings for the music world and shows how a superabundant musical line-up can be allied with music business interests and civil society engagement.
