Event Details
This culturally conscious and historical celebration of Cinco de Mayo invites guests to generously sample creative cuisines from over 50 of Austin’s most eclectic and exciting restaurants, food trucks, and beverage purveyors.
Alongside fine tequilas and mezcales, Taste of Mexico offers regional specialties and contemporary fusions to trace the lineages of a cuisine that boasts continental flavor and international flare. This year’s Taste of Mexico will highlight French influence in Mexican foodscapes. From mother sauces and moles, to pastries and pan dulce, guests are invited to celebrate the cross-pollination of French and Mexican cuisine, as well as indulge in our desserts lounge featuring rich chocolates, sweet treats and after-dinner beverages. Taste of Mexico benefits Mexic-Arte Museum’s art education programs.
