2018 Lake Travis Holiday Boat Parade

This is a must see or particpate if you love boating and the holidays. There is not better way to entertain the kiddos, friends or relatives. The parade had stopped happening during the drought, these local marinas resurected it in 2014. This year marks the 5th year in a row we are gathering unwrapped toys for Brown Santa, the Travis County Sheriff’s toy drive. So please stop by the marinas that participate and drop a toy in the brown barrel or bring them the night of the event and leave them at the Gnarly Gar. The parade will assymble in front of Crosswater Yacht Club and move up river to Rough Hollow and then back down the Point Venture side to the Gnarly Gar. There are 5 catagories to compete in and they are: Sailboat, Runabout/Ski boat, Cruiser, Pontoon and Houseboat/Barge. We also crown a grand champion every year. Awards will be handeed out at the Gar between live music sets from the band. We all look forward to this event every year, see you there.
