Junior Homesteaders is part of 3 ongoing Summer children's programming offerings. Content will vary week to week, so the kiddos can attend one class or attend throughout the summer!

Fridays, 9-11 am $15
Junior Homesteaders: Little one’s can get hands-on experience with homestead activities and projects. From garden fun like planting, harvesting, and composting, to cooking farm-fresh dishes, simple fermentation, and soap making to feeding the animals and gathering eggs. Woven through these projects will be stories and songs that focus on where our food comes from, land stewardship, and our place in the living world. Fridays, 9-11 am $15
Our children’s programs are led by our Director of Homestead Development, Sierra Olalla. Sierra holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor, and has worked developing and leading children’s programming in a variety of settings – from traditional classrooms to ecological centers and farm schools. She now studies, practices and teaches permaculture at the Wildflower Homestead.
