About Steven Joyner:
Steven is a E-RYT200 and has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga since 2006. He draws upon this experience as he explores teaching and sharing the love of this intense practice with new and experienced Ashtangis alike. Steven also teaches Hatha Flow and Children's Yoga with a focus on safety and injury prevention, rejuvenation, and self-exploration. He provides modifications and variations to make Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga both accessible and challenging to practitioners of all levels.

Steven honors the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga as taught by him Mike Mathews, Mathew Sweeney, David Swenson, and many others, following in the lineage of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. He combines his deep respect of the Ashtanga tradition with pragmatic adaptability to keep the body, heart, and mind healthy and connected. On and off the mat, Steven values continual learning, authenticity, and compassion for all beings, including ourselves.


About Christine Anderson:
Christine is originally from Chicago and has since made her dwelling in Austin, TX. She has always been an athlete engaging in a wide variety of sports and it wasn't until she discovered yoga in 2007 that she began to feel a sense of peace and joy enter into her life. For several years yoga was a purely physical practice, and eventually it began to deepen, open up, and transcend the physical. Christine maintains a super active lifestyle with a strong love for life, a passion for adventure, and a daily dose of Ashtanga Yoga. In her classes she loves to let her passion, joy, and enthusiasm radiate to her students, providing them with a nurturing love to support whatever stage of life they are in, rangi
